Welcome to Rae Studios,

 

In preparation for your first dance or fitness class, below are a few Studio Etiquette  general rules, and policies to take notes of to help provide a safe and happy environment.:

STUDIO ETIQUETTE
 

We strive to make all clients feel welcome and comfortable in our studios. We expect all students to extend the same welcoming spirit to one another and our staff. We are a community using dance and fitness to find inspiration in each other and within ourselves in a happy and safe environment. 

 

  • Go jewelry-free. Obtrusive jewelry is potentially dangerous to you and others.

  • Please respect everyone around you and wear deodorant.

  • Listen while your instructor is talking. That means no talking while they’re talking. Not even quietly to your neighbor.

  • Please turn off and stow away your cell phone. Putting it on vibrate can still make distracting noise.

  • Don’t film or take pictures in class, unless instructed. Always ask your teacher’s permission before recording or photographing any portion of your dance class.

  • Pay attention at all times, especially when waiting for your turn. You don’t want to get caught slouching or looking bored. And don’t ever sit down unless you’re asked to.

  • Stay for the entire class. It’s always best to stay for the entire duration of the class, but if you must leave early, please speak with the teacher beforehand, and make your exit as quick and discreet as possible.

  • No ins-and-outs. To avoid spread of COVID-19 and limit contact points, there will be no ins-and-outs during class. Doors will be closed when classes are in session and will remain closed during cleaning/sanitation period in-between classes.

  • Always arrive on time. If you can’t avoid being late, enter very quietly and wait for the OK from your teacher to enter the dance floor. After class, be sure to apologize for your late arrival. Please note that; to be respectful to other students, the instructor, and to prevent injuries, anyone who arrives more than 10 minutes past the beginning of class WILL NOT BE ADMITTED INTO CLASS.

  • Let advanced students stand in front. Whether it's your first time to the studio / class, or new to fitness classes, avoid the front of the room, unless you know the combinations or forms; even if you arrived first. 

  • Demonstrate good spatial awareness. Maintain physical distancing of six feet minimum at all times, when possible.

  • Try your best. If you make the mistake of taking a dance class that’s above your skill level, never walk out of a class or sit down in frustration—hang in there and try your best, no one will fault you for that. 

  • Be courteous and respectful. At the end of class, applaud and thank the instructor.

  • We ask everyone to help clean and sanitize your area after class. Gloves, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizers are provided and stationed around the studio.

STUDIO POLICY

  • No heels in Studio 2. Appropriate ballroom heels only. All heels must use heel protectors. If you don't have your own heel protectors, they can be purchased at the front.

  • No food or drinks (except water) allowed inside the studio. For the safety of our students, no glassware inside the studio. You must bring your own water bottle.

  • We keep found items for 2-3 weeks before donating them to a local charity. If you forgot something, please check with the studio hosts or contact us here, so we can reconnect you with your item(s). We are not responsible for lost items.

  • Due to guidelines to ensure safety of all staff and students, in-studio capacity is limited. All students must register in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.

  • All students must sign the updated liability form.

  • If you are feeling sick or have recently been in contact or tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. 

  • Rae Studios will no longer be requiring proof of vaccination for staff and students.

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class. Give yourself time enough time to check-in, stow away your belongings, go to the bathroom, and find your spot where you can see the instructor clearly. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, any visitors that arrive more than 15 minutes before class will be asked to wait outside or by the stairs.

RESERVATION POLICY
 

Due to limited space, we highly encourage everyone to register early to secure your spot in class. All in-studio classes must be prepaid and registered in advanced to ensure contactless check-in. We can't guarantee you a spot for late reservations. Once the class is full, we can't open up additional spots. . If you are unable to attend class, please make sure to early cancel your reservation.


WAITLISTS

If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. Waitlist management is automated through MindBody, so please only add yourself to a waitlist if you are confident you can make the class. You may be taken off the waitlist and automatically added to a class up to 60 minutes prior to the start of class. You will then be notified by email or text, if you opt-in to receive updates on your MindBody account.  In the event that a registered student doesn't arrive on-time for the scheduled class, the spot will be released to waitlisted student. Due to limited capacity, once in-studio class is filled, we won't be able to open up more spots. All in-studio classes must be registered in advanced. To limit touch points, no drop-ins will be accepted.

LIABILITY WAIVER

Liability Waiver Form (COVID 19)

I acknowledge that the vaccination status and safety guidelines may periodically change in order to adhere to the San Francisco County Department of Health's safety guidelines.  Rae Studios has relied on guidance from leading experts in infectious disease on how to best proceed when it comes to Covid-19.  By signing this, I agree to follow Rae Studios’ health and safety protocols as changes are made in order to meet these standards, including, but not limited to vaccination status and mask mandates.

I further acknowledge that RAE STUDIOS, RAE MODEL & TALENT AGENCY LLC. has put in place preventative safety measures to keep our facility clean and sanitized.  

I further acknowledge that no guarantee exists regarding whether or not I may contract COVID-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the COVID-19 virus may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, staff and other clients.

I hereby release and agree to hold RAE STUDIOS, RAE MODEL & TALENT AGENCY LLC. harmless from any causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage to myself that may be caused by any act, or failure to act, or that may otherwise arise in any way with any services received. I understand that this release discharges the aforementioned from any liability with respect to bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received. This liability waiver and release extends to all owners, partners, and employees.

In addition, please be aware that when registering for Dance and Fitness classes, you will be waiving and releasing all claims of injuries you might sustain from participating in these classes taught at Rae Studios or lost belongings. This agreement is by and between Rae Studio’s – Rae Model & Talent Agency, LLC facility, its owners, instructors and the individual whose name is registered for this class.

By registering and attending any Rae Studios class (IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY), you agree to the following:

I have registered for classes at Rae Studios and am the one participating in the dance and fitness classes. I am aware that I am responsible for the safekeeping of the belongings I bring to the studio, whether they are lost, stolen or left behind at the studio. If I leave something behind, I am aware that the studio is not liable for maintaining or retaining the item.

I acknowledge that my enrollment and subsequent participation is purely voluntary and in no way mandated by the instructor or staff.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in dance and fitness classes. I present and warrant that I am fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in the dance and fitness classes.

I understand and approve the use of recording in-studio recording/virtual and photos and videos may be used for promotional purposes in print or online and used solely for Rae Studios marketing purposes.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in dance and fitness classes, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I may incur as a result of participating in the classes. These conditions may include, but are not limited to, heart attacks, muscle strains, muscle pulls, muscle tears, broken bones, shin splints, heat prostration, injuries to knees, injuries to back, injuries to foot, or any other illness or soreness that may incur, including death.

ZOOM VIDEO RECORDING

Livestream recorded classes are available for purchase. To protect the longevity of the studio and our intellectual property of our instructors, restrictions and limitation for ZOOM recordings may apply.:

  • Some classes will not be available for ZOOM recording access.

  • ZOOM recording links will be accessible for 7 days after the class is held

  • Download option for all ZOOM recordings have been removed

  • You must confirm your name and email before viewing the ZOOM recording.

CANCELLATION POLICY
 

If you have pre-paid for a class, please log-onto your MindBody account on your desktop or via the app to cancel your reservation

 

Cancellation of livestream classes must be made at least 1 hour before the livestream class. Cancellation of in-studio classes must be made at least 3 hours before the scheduled class. Anyone that canceled past the cut-off window will be considered as a Late Cancel, which deducts the session from your missed visit. No show WILL NOT be automatically canceled, and the missed class will be forfeited. If you are unable to attend class, you can "Early Cancel" on our site, via the MindBody app, or you can call/email the studio to retain your class credit for later use. You can Early Cancel up to 1 hour prior to livestream classes and 3 hours prior to in-studio classes, without any penalty.

Multiple late cancellation may result in a penalty fee.
Monthly Unlimited Members will be charged $5 penalty for no-shows per class. No class credits, refunds, or extensions will be given for any no-shows or unused days/months. 

**Any students reserving through ClassPass, FitReserve, or any other third party must adhere to their respective cancellation / no-show policies. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS. ​ClassPass users will see a credit back into the account within 1-3 business days.​

Rae Studios reserve the rights to cancel class due to low reservations or unforeseen circumstances. At the event of class cancellation, clients will receive an email or text message notification within up to 60 minutes prior to scheduled class time, if client opted-in.  Purchased pass will be credited back into your account. For those that signed up through ClassPass or any other 3rd party accounts, the pass will be credited back to those respected accounts. LATE POLICY

To be respectful to other students, the instructor, and to prevent injuries, any client who arrives more than 10 minutes past the beginning of class WILL NOT BE ADMITTED INTO CLASS. This is a STRICT policy. In event that you arrive past the cut-off time, the class pass will be forfeited. Late arrival policy does not apply to online classes.

 

No credits or refunds will be given. 

REFUND POLICY
 

All sales are final. All class packages, individual group classes, memberships, workshops, and promotional deals are non-refundable. Class cards are non-transferable.

 

Group class packages expire within a 1-3 month period of your initial purchase, depending on the class package. All class cards are non-transferrable. If you purchased a series, workshop, or special promotional deal, please refer to the deal terms & conditions the expiration date. Unused classes by expiration date will be forfeited. All sales final.

MONTHLY UNLIMITED CONTRACT AGREEMENT
 

Terms & Conditions:

Month Unlimited Membership is a 6-month contract for $165/month. There is no initiation fee. Members that wish to terminate their Monthly Unlimited Membership may cancel any time after the initial 6 months from the date of activation and must contact management via email with a minimum of 15-calendar days notice. Cancellations prior to 6-month term fulfillment will be subjected to a $150 Early Termination Fee. The Monthly Unlimited Membership must be paid with a credit card and kept on file. Recurring payment will be automatically withdrawn on the same date of each month after the purchase date. This pass is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Monthly Unlimited Membership is valid for general In-Studio and Livestream classes listed on our websites ‘Schedule Page’. The Monthly Unlimited Membership is not valid towards special Pop-Up classes, Spotlight classes, Workshops, Private Lessons, or Studio Rentals. The One Month Unlimited Pass and the Monthly Unlimited Membership does not guarantee a spot for students that do not pre-register for class. Class sizes are limited. Early registration for classes is strongly suggested. All sales are final. No class credits, refunds, or extensions will be given for any no-shows or unused days/months.

In Studio-Cancellation Policy:

If you are unable to attend class, you can "Early Cancel" on our website, via the MindBody app, or you can call (415) 484-3451 or email the studio at  raestudiossf@gmail.com. Cancellations must be made 3 hours in advance.  There are no penalties for early cancellations.  Late cancellations can be made through the MindBody app.  Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged $5 per class with the first late or no show cancellation waived.  Please be mindful of late cancellations or no shows as spots are limited and classes are prepared in advance. No class credits, refunds, or extensions will be given for any no-shows or unused days/months.

Livestream Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation for Livestream classes must be made at least 1 hour before the livestream class. One Month Unlimited Pass and Monthly Unlimited Members will be charged $5 penalty for no-shows per class.

 

Pausing/Suspending Membership:

Monthly Unlimited Members can pause or suspend their contract on a month-to-month basis for the maximum of 6-months per calendar year. Pausing or suspension must be a minimum of 1-calendar month and can not reactivate early. Members that wish to take classes while the membership is on pause or suspension will need to purchase a single drop-in ticket or class package. Members must contact management via email with a minimum of 7-calendar days notice to pause or suspend the membership. There are no retroactive suspensions. 

Membership Termination Policy:

Members that wish to terminate their Monthly Unlimited Membership may cancel any time after the initial 6 months from the date of activation and must contact management via email with a minimum of 15-calendar days notice. Termination prior to 6-month term fulfillment will be subjected to a $150 Early Termination Fee. All sales final. No class credits, refunds, or extensions will be given for any no-shows or unused days/months.
