We are so proud to partner with Paralympic Swimmer Jamal Hill offering our community a specialized breathing course. If quarantine has taught us anything, it's been to re-evaluate our wellness and overall health. Our wellness practice has been a wonderful journey. Now we ask you to join us diving in deep with Jamal Hill as he shares his craft of breathing exercises to target how to deal with stress and anxiety starting with breathing. Breath work is the foundation of our mind and body connection. How do we continue pushing ourselves through conditioning, dancing, and cardio vascular activities if we don't train ourself how to breathe?


Introducing our newest Spotlight feature, JAMAL HILL. An expert in his craft providing breath work using body, mind and water. With his background as a professional Paralympic swimmer, Jamal will take us on a journey finding a new sense of empathy through breathing and body conditioning.

The Class Design: "Blissful Breathing"

In this workshop you will learn the following topics along with taking home a few exercises that you can apply to your daily lifestyle.


Topics learned in class:

  • How to address Stress, & Anxiety through breathe work

  • Nasal breathing circuit training

  • Euphoric visualization 

  • Submerging the mind + body in positive energy

  • Vibrating HIGHER through breath

What to bring for class / props:

  • Dress comfortably

  • Create an clear and open space

  • Stool/ armless chair needed 

  • Glass of water

Class Outline:

  1. Jamal Hill Intro & Overview

  2. Stress Anxiety & Boredom - what happens to the body during anxiety?

  3. (12minute) 4 x 3 minute breathing exercise (Stool/ armless chair needed)

  4. (3minute) Vibrating HIGHER through breath - what happens when you stack breath in your body

  5. (7minute) building breath through chakras to ecstasy exercise

  6. (3minute) rest and recovery

  7. (10minute) Nasal Breathing circuit

  8. 2x (4x1 minute exercise + 1minute rest )

  9. Q&A

We will use a series of breathing techniques adopted from the Wim Hof Method and from Jamal's professional experience as an elite Paralympic swimmer, students will embark on a journey to destress the human physiology by inducing a state of "natural high" through breath mediation.

His Story:


Jamal Hill is a Los Angeles based educator, self- proclaimed "aqua-preneur", and Champion American Paralympic Swimmer. He was diagnosed with Charcot- Marie- Tooth 1X, and has used his condition as a form of empowerment instead of impairment. Leading into the Tokyo 2021 Paralympic Games, Jamal is ranked #1 in the nation for several individual events.Jamal uses his platform as a place to share the best products and stories designed to inspire and improve the lives of others.


Ranked #1 in the nation for 2 events as apart of Team USA Para-Swim

Ranked #7 in the world for the Mens 50m Freestyle.
