Event Recap:


On behalf of all of Rae Studios and The Bay Club SF, we want to say thank you to who all who came out and supported local artists in dance, movement, and wellness at our first-ever outdoor event last Sunday, March 7th. We had a blast sweating under the sun with a gorgeous view of the Bay and even better company.


We'd like to take a moment to highlight our instructors, David leading our bootcamp class, Jessica, JP, Anna, and Thara as our life of the party getting us Drenched! a cardio dance class. Lastly, Lydia's dynamite K-pop class teaching choreography followed by small group performances.

About Boombox:


BOOMBOX SUNDAY IS BACK 🎉


We've partnered with Bay Club to offer a special outdoor monthly fitness & dance experience, bringing back "Boombox Sunday", The Rooftop Edition. In this event you will have access to 3 back to back 45min-classes featuring a rotating roster of instructors every month. The gorgeous space overlooks downtown San Francisco, with full covered turf and offers a wide range of fitness supplies including yoga mats, free weights, We will be communicating non-stop beats using Silent Disco headsets and provide a hydration station along with snacks between your classes. To ensure safety procedures, space will be limited. We highly encourage you to RSVP soon to ensure your seat. Your General Admission ticket gives you access to all 3 classes, stay for 1 or for all! No ins/outs. Face masks, temperature checks, social distancing, and registration is required for this event.

Meet the Team of Amazing Instructors:

 

David So

David So is the founder and creator of NAB, Neighbor And Brother, a local SF fitness organization. David's charismatic attitude is contagious! You will find yourself sweating and laughing the entire workout as he pushes you to build and burn while meeting your fitness using foundational and functional movement in HIIT / Bootcamp style classes. Credentials include PTA Global NCCA Accredited Certified Personal Trainer. You can find David teaching for various companies including Rae Studios weekly for Bootcamp, Sweat 30, and HIIT style classes.


Bootcamp

An interval training class that mixes calisthenics, dumbbell, and bodyweight exercises with cardio and strength training to build lean sculpted muscles. These classes are designed to get your heart pumping, sweating, and get you to pusher harder than you have ever before.

Jessica Rae

Jessica Rae is the owner and director of Rae Model & Talent Agency LLC and Rae Studios, a local dance and fitness studio located in San Francisco's Union Square. Jessica's teaching dance background and certifications include Cardio Dance, Cize Live, Pound Pro, Kickboxing, and Barre along with various styles of dance choreography.


Drenched!

An all levels Cardio-dance based class featuring Top 40 jams from Hip Hop, Reggaeton to Pop. The dance sets are fun and trendy with choreography combos complimented by intense full-body exercises that keep the heart pumping and keep you sweating. Level 1-2 are follow and go, Level 3 is broken down and designed to push your choreography retention. Best of all, the class combos are taught weekly with a modified music roster to keep you on your toes, dancing, toning, and SWEATING. Come dance and get DRENCHED!

Lydia Chon

Lydia is a 24 year old New Orleans native who has lived in the Bay Area for over two years. She has danced for over 11 years and is trained in jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip hop where she danced competitively on a dance team. She was also part of the All-Star Dance Team where she performed in international countries. With her love for K-Pop, she currently teaches Beginner/Intermediate K-Pop classes where she can teach you your favorite K-Pop choreo. Currently, she is represented by Rae Dance Agency.


K-Pop

Beginner / Intermediate K-Pop is open to all levels. This class is for you if you want to feel like you are starring in your own K-Pop MV. This class will highlight some choreography from some of your favorite K-Pop Idols(e.g., Twice, BTS, Blackpink, etc).
