Event Recap:
Thank you to all who joined our AAPI Art in Movement celebration via Zoom or IG Live! It was a special evening highlighting the talented AAPI artists in our and Kollaboration SF's community! It was so awesome to feel everyone's love and gratitude for one another when they heard their instructor, friend, or teammate's name, and we were so happy to uplift the AAPI artists in our community with their certificates and showcasing their art in the montage above created by Community Manager, Trisha Fuerte. As an AAPI owned and lead arts art space and small business, it truly became a top Rae Studios memory to date.

The story behind the event
"Hey Team... now that we are a little caught up, how do we tie in the rest of the month to celebrate Asian Heritage Month?“ To all small businesses wearing multiple hats. Running a business through the pandemic is EXTREMELY HARD. However, it’s never too late to have your voice heard. Rae Studios Management team had a productive Monday meeting recapping our calendar of events and we are proud of our work so far within our community. We are most excited for the launch of “Asian Heritage Artistry in the form of Dance”, celebrating our AAPI artists for our end of May showcase. Stay tuned as we continue to unite our community in the fight against all forms of hate, racism, nativism, gender based violence, and xenophobia.
Thank you for the continued support. We at Rae Studios, are so proud of our community as we continue to learn, grow, and educate each other in the fight against social injustice. Stay tuned for more details to come!

About Rae Studios
Founded in 2012, Rae Studios is a dance & fitness center, overlooking San Francisco's Union Square. The studio is located on the 7th floor of the Native Sons of Golden West building, a historic preservation and organization founded in 1875. With wall-to-wall mirrors, high ceilings, stretch bars, state-of-the-art sound system and our electrifying in house dance & fitness instructors, Rae Studios is the perfect solution for group and one-on-one training exercise.
Our mission is to merge the ideologies of popular dance culture by bridging fitness gym and traditional dance studio mentality into a place that welcome all levels of dance & fitness in a healthy progressive environment. Our goal is to provide San Francisco dance seekers with community, growth and participation through artistic outlets of music + movement. Our culture is simple; create a space for dance and community to thrive, water the roots of our passion, fuel our dreams by action, and inspire others to do the same.
